I got pretty angry after reading the newspapers today.
It says that China has $2 trilion and dono how many millions available for reconstruction of the eq-hit zones. and so why are most of the ppl donating to China instead of Myanmar ?
In fact, while Myanmar remained silence abt the amt tat they are receiving, they are receiving donations from China. in other words, China has enough to give others .
but wads enough ? how much is enough ?
I felt a lil cheated . as i was pretty touched by the charity show ytd night. altho , i would say not by the performance.. but by a msg and a poem read out loud. and i even teared . thats why i got really angry-.0
one of which is on a mother protecting her 4 mths baby with her own body. when she was dug out., the baby was still sound aslp and in the hands of the mum , was a mobile with the following words typed in :
亲爱的宝贝 ,
如果你还活着,请你记得我爱你.
as for the poem, the poetist wrote it in the pt of view of the children who died in the eq, telling their mothers to live on and be strong. (so repeatedly there was.. 妈妈,别哭 in the poem. )
however, in my opinion, shldnt the authorities be blamed for this ? as in , mayb a massacre of those who exploited from the building of substandard skools and homes. they ought to pay for all these loss of innocent lives. little children who have not seen the world yet .
while they might wan to contd to skool the next day , their opportunities were taken away by the black hearted evil monsters.
and how abt those who became orphans in just a day .
they had predicted the eq . but once again , due to wadsoever economic reasons, all these lives were seemed to be small as compared . why humans don learn.. isnt the lesson of the Tsunami just couple of yrs ago alrdy a slap in the face , a slit in the heart..?
more than 60,000 deaths. mayb to geog students, this might just be a case study used to compare with the Tangshan eq , like the way we used Kobe, Japan .
